For several weeks, I’ve had a number of intuitions regarding the pandemic that has consumed all off our minds. This could be because I knew my industry would be one of the hardest hit industries once “Shelter in Place” ordinances started being put in place. Being furloughed was something that I thought could happen, but hoped wouldn’t. I also did not anticipate it would happen this soon. After all, being an analyst on a Financial Planning and Analysis team, I usually have a better understanding than many colleagues in regards to these types of decisions. Nonetheless, here I am, furloughed.
You may ask, what does that mean? My short answer, time will tell. My long answer is also time will tell. Therefore, I will begin to blog and document my thoughts and feelings and share what it means to me, in my specific situation. I welcome you to join me by reading my articles that I plan to share. Please note, I am not the only one who has thoughts to share. Hopefully, by sharing my experience, I can create a dialogue where we can all learn from one another and empathize with each other as we all go through this together.
